Pro's Tip

Two of the most difficult tee shots at Blankney, are by common opinion, at the 6th and the 12th. For the average man (and longer hitting woman) golfer, the narrowest part of the fairway equates to the precise distance of the players tee shot. If you were to place a ball on the fairway at actual normal driving distance, you would favour the left side to open up to green.

But too far left and you are in the “bomb hole” or the trees. The second shot requires judgment to the downhill difficult target. The green is offset and heavily contoured, and to take two putts from any distance, will require an excellent read and touch.
