Pro's Tip

A good tee shot, as near to the water as you dare, leaves a short iron to the green, with the trick being to leave the ball on the same tier as the flag.

Putting from the lower to the upper level or vice versa is testing for the best putter. a short tee shot, or one on the right of the fairway, brings the water hazard into play. To finish in the right-hand bunker is sometimes a good option, sand being better than water.
