Our last away match of the season was at South Kyme. The weather was very good to us and the course, although rather wet in places, was in good condition. As has been a regular occurrence this year, we were only able to field 7 pairs, but this did not detract from the keeness of the players.
We were treated to an excellent carving buffet after the match and thanks were given to the catering staff. Also, Sth. Kyme laid on an excellent half way house, which was very welcome.
Unfortunately the day was spoiled by the result, which was 4/3 to South Kyme, but my thanks go to our team who turned out to play.
