A magnificent setting for a golf game
Second dining session in the clubhouse area
An excellent improvement to the clubhouse facilities
The event superbly serviced by the admirable catering staff
Who were shorthanded upon the day
There was only two of them
With attention also required for the bar
A buffet style meal was greatly appreciated by those present
As was the humour that emanated from the after diner speakers
Droll to have comedians conclude proceedings
As much merriment inside as there was outside
Plenty of merriment on the course for Blankney
One pair going to the fifteenth tee as winners
While a second pair found the fourteenth tee as winners
