As from the 1st November 2016 the clubhouse catering has been brought "In house'' with all the current kitchen staff being employed by Blankney Estates. This has gone down well and has brought all the bar and catering staff more together and working as a happy team which will be of benefit to the members and visitors alike.
Head Chef, Becky Belton, who has been appointed since Lee Crossan resigned, has not only settled in very well but is looking forward to the challenge of leading the catering team. Becky is already building an excellant reputation with the members and her 'home cooking' is going down very well. Fresh cakes for the ladies on a wednesday has certainly been a hit!
Sunday lunches is something we would like to build on and with this in mind it will be available on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month during January, Feb and March. If however you have a party or 10 or more then we will be able to accomadate on other sunday's too.
Getting the membership to consider booking either a family function or a business meeting with lunch is a part of the business we are very keen to expand. The dining room has been re-decorated and with an upgrade in the kitchens we are ready for bookings and to persuade members to look no further than their own golf club as a venue. Remember as a member you get a discount off beverages and this will also expand into a members price for food.
