Graham Bradley Cup

Dear all,

Please be aware of the change of competition for Sunday 17th July 2022 which was scheduled as the Graham Bradley Cup.

The innaugral date for the Graham Bradley Cup will now be held in 2023.

For those who have already entered, I'm sorry for the inconvenience as I've had to remove the competition from V1/HDiD and your names will have also disappeared from the system.

This leaves Sunday 17th July free from a formal competition and we have decided to run a Gents Roll Up in its place so you can book your preferred Tee slots through BRS as normal on Friday 8th July 2022 at 18:40 hours.

Please support this Roll Up as we are looking at ways to improve the number of entries for competitions for the future and the introduction of this type of format may be the way forward as it allows you to play with your peer group at a time that is convenient to you.  If people also put the names of all players in the group, spaces can be filled by members who are new to the club or haven't got regular playing partners.

FATHERS DAY STABLEFORD

Dear all,

Thank you to those who entered Sundays' Competition, The Fathers Day Stableford and congratulations and well played to Kev Ross who scored an impressive 39 points with an excellent level par gross front 9, great golf Kev.  Close behind Kev with decent scores of 37 points were Stuart Clarke and Andrew Shepherd with Stuart scoring a bb9 of 21 to take 2nd place and Andrew 3rd.  Nige Bottomley finished in 4th place with a respectable score of 36 points and 4 players had 2's.  All results and prize breakdowns can be found in the Mens section of the Club Website.

Next weekend is Captains Weekend and this will be a fun stableford non-qualifier played off 100% handicaps with a little twist on the 13th hole.  Because it is a non-qualifier there is no need to enter your score on V1/HDiD or the Club touchscreen, however there will be trays for you to place your completed scorecards in the area of the touchscreen relevant to your Division/Section.  If you haven't got your name down to play, there is still time to enter, so please come and support Anne over the weekend and the chosen Captains Charity, Lives.
