Ladies Welcome

Blankney Golf Ladies Captain 2020 - Coral Earney

What an honour, to be the Ladies Captain of Blankney for 2020, and on behalf of myself and our Ladies I would like to extend a warm welcome to Blankney Golf Club.

Our rolling parkland course, being free draining, offers the opportunity to play throughout the year and I hope you will come to play, and enjoy our deceptively simple course.  The course is kept in immaculate condition by Course Manager, John Hart and his team.

Our PGA Professionals, Graham and Alec Bradley are friendly and very helpful to both members and visitors.  Both Graham and Alec are experienced coaches; for many years keeping our worst bad habits in check.

For members, our competition secretary organises weekly competitions throughout the year.  Ladies day is a Wednesday, with alternate day Saturday.  There are also Trophy competitions on a Sunday.

There are three open competitions for Ladies, with several Mixed competitions too for visitors; do come and join us.  If you prefer a relaxed round with friends why not take advantage of the seasonal offers just ring 01526 320202, option 1, to arrange a time for you.

Our clubhouse, friendly and welcoming, is a great place for people to meet up and socialise.  Further, we now accommodate weddings, parties or just social gatherings for all.  Our Club House Supervisor, Tracey Faulkner, 01526 320263, option 3, is available to arrange events.  The hardworking catering team are on hand to offer bar snacks, daily specials and homemade delights or meals in our restaurant for more formal occasions.  Bar Manager, Sarah, and her team are also on hand to serve liquid refreshments.

Captain Kev O'Rourke and myself have chosen "Lives" for our charity this year; much needed, First Responders in this rural and widespread county.  On a personal level, their quick response to my husband Malcolm helped us through a difficult time some years ago.

Finally, no-one works alone at this job, and i would like to thank my Committee and our Ladies for all their support in ensuring a successful year and of course not forgetting Past Captain Jules, for inviting me to accept the honour.
