As you would expect we are closely monitoring the contunually developing situation in respect of COVID-19. We are keeping up to date with both Government and English Golf Union advice.
As of today the position of the Executive is:
The Golf Course will remain open until further notice.
The Club House will remain open until further notice.
Any bookings for match meals, groups and ouitside functions will be cancelled for the next two weeks and then reviewed weekly after that two week period. Please liaise with Tracey Faulkner should you have any queries in relation to your bookings.
All matches and competitions can continue as usual until further notice or advised on a match by match/competition basis by those organising.
In order to keep us all safe please adhere to these guidelines:
Do not visit the Club (including the Course) if you have returned from any of the affected countries and detailed on the Government website.
Do not visit the Club (including the Course) if you have any of the symptoms - cough and fever - and until you have completed the quarantine period.
Do not visit the Club (including the Course) if anyone else in your household is self-isolating due to having symptoms.
Please wash hands thoroughly as often as possible. Facilities are available in the Club House and at the Half Way House.
Maintain good hygiene practices such as using tissues and disposing of them correctly.
When on the Course please use your gloved hand to remove and replace the flag and also when using a rake in the bunkers.
Please do resist the urge to shake hands - people will appreciate you are not being rude.
Here at the Golf House and Golf Course we will be reviewing and adhering to our own hygiene practices in order to keep the Club House and Golf Course as hygienic as possible.
We will update you as and when it is felt necessary.
Please do stay safe and we look forward to seeing you on the Course.
