Club Captain's Welcome
May I take this opportunity to welcome members and visitors to the Blankney Golf Club Website. The course located 10 miles south of Lincoln, offers a superb test of golf, each hole demanding a wide range of different golfing skills. At the same time, it is picturesque and peaceful - a joy to play especially mid-season when the leaves on the trees are showing their Autumn colours.
We are fortunate in having a hard working Golf Course Manager, John Hart, whose team maintain the course and in Winter make any necessary renovations. For example this year some bunkers are being re-shaped and a short 10th hole is being re-designed.
All visitors can be sure of a warm welcome from the club steward, David Burrell and his assistants. We also have a new chef who offers a wide range of meals during the day. He will also be pleased to cater for visiting societies.
The Club Professional and Manger, Graham Bradley, has served the club for many years and would be availbale to attend your every need. He would be pleased to explain the arrangements for playing the course. He would also answer any questions about membership.
The Club Vice Captain, Bruce Saunderson and I will be available to meet and play with any visitors. We recommend Blankney Golf Club to you without any reservations.
Reg Royle.
