Club Captain Welcome

May I take this opportunity to welcome you to our site and Golf Club which I hope you will consider visiting to play golf on what we feel is, not without justification, a great example of a fine English Parkland course.

We can assure you of a fine welcome and Dave Burrell [Club Steward] and his staff who  are always ready to ease the pain with a well earned drink! We welcome societies as well as individuals, and Graham Bradley (Club Manager and Professional) and John our chef will be happy to discuss your requirements. We also have several men's, ladies and mixed opens through the year, and I hope you will take the opportunity to come and play some competative golf with us.

I hope that I will have the opportunity to meet you at these events or on another occasion but would ask one favour - if you find a ball with a G and a smiley face on it, please could you return it to the bar where l also come along and I can collect it; but please - don't tell them where you found it!
